Parallel Password Recovery (PDF module) v 3.0

PDF documents can be password protected for opening, using 40, 128 or 256-bit cryptography. 40-bit keys can be broken with guarantee, regardless of password used. To recover PDF open password if 128 or 256-bit keys are used, Parallel Password Recovery for PDF is designed especially to gain maximal recovery rate.

Local and Distributed versions

There are two key versions: local version which can be used by home user as well and distributed version for LAN and Internet. Local version can take advantage of home PCs up to 4 processors/cores. Distributed version is more professional one with possibility of unlimited clients connections.

Password Definition Language

It is the most important innovative feature of Parallel Password Recovery suite. It supports all well-known standard attacks (such as brute force, dictionary, misspelled password recovery etc) and also allows users to make their own attack types. PDL language is extremely efficient if user remembers any information about a forgotten password (for example, the password consists of two words separated by a special sign or has some digits at the end).

Parallel computing

Any version efficiently vectorizes a password recovery process as on physical processors/cores so on distributed workstations. Any of PDL rules are easily vectorized.

• 1. I got the error message when starting the software: "The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect" or "The code execution cannot proceed because *.dll was not found"

  Try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable Package

• 2. I got the error message: "Client declines test file (This document has no user password)" or "Client declines test file (This document uses 40-bit encryption")

• 3. Which GPUs are supported to recover PDF password?

  All modern NVIDIA and AMD cards. You need the latest NVIDIA drivers or latest AMD drivers).

• 4. When GPU client is activated?

  GPU client is activated only if password definition contains '*' (regular repetition symbol). All another passwords are tested on CPU.
